Frequently Asked Questions

A few of the questions I get asked most often.

Planning a wedding, portrait session, or special event comes with a lot of questions. If you don't see yours answered here, feel free to reach out.

  • Booking is simple:

    1. Reach out through my contact form.

    2. We'll schedule a consultation to discuss your vision and answer any questions.

    3. Once you're ready to move forward, I'll send over a contract and retainer invoice.

    4. After the contract is signed and the retainer is paid, your date is officially reserved.

From there, I'll guide you through the rest of the process and be available whenever you need me.

  • Every wedding is unique, but most couples receive between 50–100 edited images per hour of coverage. My focus is always on quality over quantity, so you'll receive a carefully curated collection that tells the complete story of your day.

  • Private events are delivered within 48 hours of the event. Portrait sessions take about 2-3 weeks. Wedding galleries are delivered within 6–8 weeks. During busy seasons, delivery may take slightly longer, but I'll always keep you informed throughout the process.

  • Absolutely. I always bring backup camera bodies, lenses, memory cards, batteries, and flashes to every wedding and event. Your memories are too important to leave anything to chance.

  • A signed contract and retainer are required to reserve your date. The remaining balance is due before your session or event. Payment plans are available for wedding collections.

  • Absolutely.

You photograph throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New England.

  • Maybe! I've photographed weddings throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Even if I've never worked at your venue before, I always arrive early, scout locations, and develop a plan to make the most of your space.

  • Absolutely! In fact, most couples tell me this before their wedding. My approach is relaxed and guided, focusing on natural interactions rather than stiff poses. I'll provide direction when needed, but my goal is to help you feel comfortable enough to be yourselves. The best photos happen when you're focused on each other—not the camera.

  • New England weather can be unpredictable, but don't worry—I always come prepared with a backup plan. Some of my favorite images have actually been captured on rainy wedding days. Whether we utilize indoor spaces, covered areas, or embrace the weather for a few creative photos, we'll make sure you still receive a beautiful gallery that tells the story of your day.

  • Yes! Engagement sessions are available as both a standalone service and as part of select wedding collections. They're a great opportunity for us to get to know each other, help you feel more comfortable in front of the camera, and create beautiful images before the wedding day.

  • For family formals, absolutely. I'll work with you before the wedding to create a list of important family groupings. For the rest of the day, I take a documentary approach and focus on capturing genuine moments as they naturally unfold.

  • No. I only book one wedding per day so that every couple receives my full attention, energy, and focus from start to finish.

  • You'll receive every image that meets my quality standards. During a wedding I may capture thousands of frames, but part of my job is removing duplicates, test shots, missed focus images, and unflattering expressions so that your final gallery represents the very best of your day.

  • Yes. I carry business liability insurance and can provide a certificate of insurance to your venue if needed.
