Below are some questions and their answers for common questions. These are here simply to help make your decision in hiring Modern Revolutions that much easier! Of course, if you have any additional questions you can contact me here and asked anything you’d like!

Q: Is there anyway I can have every single photo from that day?

A: During a busy wedding day as a wedding photographer I may take many more photos then what you're seeing. That being said, I am not holding anything back from you. I may rapid-fire the first kiss and get about 20 shots of that one kiss, however from that 20 only a few may actually be good and worth it. Due to this nature, after the wedding and during the editing process, I cull the images and discard any of the images that I feel are not successful. However, if you remember requesting a photo that day and for some reason don't see it, feel free to shoot me an email and ask for it! I am not a monster and want to produce the most beautiful images and as many as i can the day of your wedding.

Q: How does payment work? Do you accept payment plans?

A: The payment schedule does depend on when you book with us. The normal payment schedule goes as follows: 50% is due at contract signing, this is used as a retainer and will keep your date available and is non-refundable if the client decides to back out of the contract. 2 months before the date of your even 30% is due, with the remaining 20% due 1 month before the event date. This ensures that we are paid in full prior to the event taking place. The last thing we want to do is ask for money on your wedding day, or worse, during your honeymoon. However, all this being said, other payment arrangements can be made to accommodate both parties. On the other hand, until payment is made in full, the client will not receive the full package inclusions such as custom USB, the catalog of images, etc.

Q: How do you ensure that my files are safe and will not be corrupt/damaged?

A: Of course those horror stories of wedding photographers not backing up their files and losing the entire wedding's worth of images are horrible. However, we take practical and technical measures to ensure that the files are safe and have a very low chance of being corrupt or lost. During the event a few memory cards are being used, which minimizes the chance of corruption. Also, the night of the event, when I get back to my office, I back up all of the wedding files on a few different hard drives to ensure there are multiple copies. I also keep the memory cards aside until I am finished editing the entire wedding. Your files will be safe!

Q: How long will it take before I get my images?

A: Every wedding timeline is different and may require more time than the other. That being said, the average turnover rate is about 4-6 weeks after the event date. Usually sooner, rather than later.

Q: Do you give a print release? What is a print release?

A: Yes, we give out a print release with every package and purchase. This print release is a document that states that you have the right to print your photos where ever you'd like. This document can be found on your USB drive as a PDF file. All you need to do is either print it out and show it to the printing company you go to, or pull it up on your phone!

Q: What is the flash drive? What does it include?

A: Each flash drive is customized for each wedding. This means that it is unique to you as a couple and actually contains an image from your wedding. We do this to make it a keepsake, ensuring that you will cherish it for years to come. Each flash drive is individually ordered after your event and will include all of the fully-edited, high resolution photo files. These are not the RAW files. This USB also includes a print release and an overview of package details.

Q: How many pictures do I receive?

A: Every wedding is different, and every wedding has a different amount of fine details. However, the standard shooting process is about 50 images an hour. Which means if your wedding is 8 hours long, that would be 400 images. However, since wedding days are unpredictable, I will shoot as many images as possible and I will hold nothing back from you. If i take a gorgeous photo on your big day, I will not keep it from you. I want to make sure you get all the photos you desire and make sure that the images are captured beautifully.

Q: What is the online gallery?

A: Each wedding package comes with an online viewing gallery. Each package comes with a per-determined time that your gallery will be viewable. For the exact time that your gallery will be accessable, please check the details of your selected package. Each gallery has social media sharing capabilities, single image download as well as entire collection download. These galleries will be sent out as soon as the wedding is finished being edited and you will receive the link before receiving the USB.

Q: Can we order prints through you?

A: Of course you can! Integrated in each client gallery is a print store. You can order regular prints, canvas prints and other neat photo gifts! These prints and canvas are created by a professional printing company and drop shipped to your shipping address. No fuss, no extensive waiting, just order and enjoy!

Q: What do you wear to weddings?

A: The usual uniform for the photographer is a black company polo with the logo on the front and "photographer" on the back. This helps to distinguish us from guests and allows them to grab us in case they want a photo too! The uniform also includes black pants, and black snearkers. This is the most comfortable for us and allows us to get any shot and angle that we need without ruining formal attire. However, if you would like us to be dressed in formal attire, that can be arranged as well.

Q: Do you shoot multiple weddings in a day?

A: Simply put, no. We strive to ensure that each of our clients get the best customer service experience possible, and if that means staying an extra hour or two at your request, then that will happen. We book nothing else the day of your event, and you will have my complete, undivided attention all day, start to finish.

Q: Do you have back-up equipment?

Q: Do you need a shot list?

A: No. Because weddings are such a busy, all day affair it would be extremely difficult to make sure I get every single small shot. That is not to say I will miss important shots. I will strive to capture every important detail of your wedding and standard shots lists are not required. However, I will ask for a list of family members that you'd like in your formal group shots, this is because I don't know who you'd want or not want in these photos. This list will be printed out and taken with me on that day, however it is not set in stone.

A: Yes! We know that sometimes technology fails, in that event your wedding will not be halted or even notice any technological hiccups. We bring a large black carrying container to every event (usually hidden near the DJ) which contains our back up equipment such as cameras, flashes, batteries and memory cards.

Q: What if we don't want an engagement session?

Q: What should we wear to our engagement session?

A: I want you to be comfortable but look great as well! Please wear something semi-formal, or casual, it depends on your style! Its your engagement session, you can do what you want! I do suggest if you do something semi-formal that the ladies use this as an opportunity to use their hair and make-up trial. Since most make-up artists offer one, it gives you a chance to knock out 2 birds with 1 stone and also see how the make-up will photograph!

A: When paired with a wedding package it is included at no cost! However I do strongly encourage an engagement sessions. This gives us a chance to get to know each other a little better and also always you to understand how I work and photograph. Also, if done early enough you could have some great photos for your Save the Dates and/or invitations!

Q: What if we lose our flash drive a year down the road?

A: That is unfortunate, but luckily I do keep wedding files for as long as possible. That being said if you do lose your flash drive, shoot me an email and I'll see if I still have the files. (I usually keep them for about 5 years) However, a replacement USB will cost $75.
